Nothing makes a team feel like a team quite like a matching kit. If you're the coach, captain or club volunteer in charge of ordering, here's how to make kit day go smoothly. Start with sizes. Send every player a simple form asking for shirt size, shorts size and the name and number they want printed. Give a firm deadline. Order one or two spares. Someone always joins mid-season, and spare kits save a last-minute rush. Allow time. Printed names and numbers usually add a few days, so order at least three weeks before your first match.
